¡Hola a tod@s! Hace unos 458765 años que no subo ningún look de maquillaje al blog pero quería hacer un look inspirado en este vídeo y canción de Charli XCX llamado Boom Clap (banda sonora de Bajo la misma estrella) que me parece muy sencillo y bonito. A pesar de que me gusta mucho el color rosa, no soy mucho de utilizar sombras en estos tonos pero desde que vi ese clip me pregunté por qué no ya que veo que no quedan nada mal en los ojos marrones. Me costó encontrar sombras de esos tonos por casa y las que encontré resultaron ser malísimas pero como digo, es un look inspirado.

About a billion years ago, I uploaded my last make-up look to the blog so when I saw this video by Charli XCX for the song Boom Clap (The Fault In Our Stars OST) I knew that I wanted to do something similar, because I think it looks very simple and nice at the same time. Even though I like pink a lot, I don't normally wear eyeshadows in this shade, but since I watched that clip I wonder why because they look good with brown eyes. It was not easy for me to find some pink eyeshadows at home and the ones I did find were quite horrible, but as I say, it's an inspired make-up look.

¡Hola! En la entrada de hoy me gustaría hablaros de un producto para rellenar las cejas que a día de hoy es el que más me gusta, se trata del Eye Brow Cake en el tono Gaze de Illamasqua.

Desde que leo blogs y/o veo vídeos de belleza me sorprendió la importancia que algunas personas le daban a las cejas. Sinceramente a mí no me parece imprescindible maquillarlas, aunque me he acostumbrado a hacerlo siempre pero no suelo marcarlas mucho porque quizás para fotografías quede bien pero cara a cara no me suele gustar cuando lo veo. Puede ser cuestión de gustos o de productos, no sé.

Hello! In today's post I would like to talk about a brow product that I really like and it's almost one of my make-up basics, it's an Eye Brow Cake in Gaze by Illamasqua.

Since I first started to watch videos and read blogs about beauty products, I was surprised about the importance that brows have for some people. Honestly, I don't think it's essential to fill them, although I am used to it and I always do it, but I don't like them to be much defined; maybe they look great in pictures, but not so much in real life. It might be a matter of taste, who knows.


 Recuerdo que hice una entrada con el pedido donde venía este producto (X) y en las fotos el tono parece algo diferente, supongo que por el uso del flash, pero es un como un gris amarronado. Al tener el pelo de las cejas de color negro, no me gusta usar productos que sean marrones porque noto mucho la diferencia al tener algunos huecos, así que creo que elegí bien entre los que había en la web.

I wrote a post talking about all the products that I bought in their website more than one year ago (X) and in those pictures the shade looks different, maybe because of the flash usage, but it is described as a dark slate grey. My brow hair is black or almost, and I don't like using brown products because I can see the difference so I think I chose the best option available on their web.


 A primera vista este producto parece una sombra y cuando la tocamos o usamos un pincel para coger producto (en mi caso uno biselado o para pequeños detalles) nos damos cuenta de que no es nada polvorienta, coge el producto necesario y nunca se cae producto del pincel.
Entrando en la web de la página para leer la descripción he leído que también se puede utilizar en mojado para darle más intensidad, cosa que no se me había ocurrido.

At first sight, Gaze looks like an eyeshadow, but when we touch it or use a pencil in order to do it (an angled or small one in my case) we can see that it's not powdery at all.
I just read on their website that it can be used wet as well to intensify the effect, and I haven't thought about it.


 La verdad es que no se si se apreciara mucho en las fotos porque con la luz natural no se veía nada y con la luz del flash o artificial apenas se ve la diferencia entre una ceja maquillada y la que no. En todo caso en la foto de la izquierda tengo la ceja con el Gaze + el fijador de cejas de Kiko y en la de la izquierda la ceja está sin nada. No llevo nada más de maquillaje en las fotos (por si no se nota...)

I don't know if you can tell the difference between my two eyebrows in these pictures, but I couldn't get any better without flash/artificial lightning. In any case, on the left pic I am wearing Gaze + eyebrow designer by Kiko and on the right pic I'm not wearing any make-up on my eyebrow. I'm not wearing any more make-up in the pictures (in case you hadn't noticed...)

¡Hola! Hacer estas entradas parece que me ayuda a decidir las cosas que tengo que comprar así que he pensando en hacer una Wishlist para guiarme este otoño/invierno. Lo que más he notado que me faltan son camisetas de manga larga y jerséis, eso de que lo vas dejando y ya no te cuadran las cosas, pues casi que así estoy. Lo demás que hay en las imágenes ya no sería tan necesario pero me gustaría tener un abrigo rosa (y de todos los colores), algún gorro más porque creo que alguno se me ha hecho grande y poder renovar algún pijama. También haciendo esta entrada y pensando en lo que poner creo que podría haber añadido ropa términa y similares, por lo que serían más cosas, más complicado decidirse y vuelta a empezar.
¿Qué vais a comprar este otoño/invierno?

Hi! It seems that making these posts helps me deciding what to buy, so I've thought about writing a Wishlist for this Autumn/Winter. Basically, I need long sleeve tops and jumpers; you say to yourself that you're going to buy one next time and say that again then you don't, and you end up needing new clothes. The rest of the items are not that important, but I would like to own a pink coat (and a blue/green/red... one), a new wool hat because some of mine are a bit worn out, and finally, I would like to buy some pyjamas. While I was writing this post, I've been thinking that maybe I need some thermal clothing as well, so that would be even more stuff to buy, making my future decision more difficult and I go back to the start again.
What are you going to buy this Autumn/Winter?

Octubre termina y es otro mes más que no me ha dicho mucho este año, a ver si en noviembre cambia un poco la cosa y hay algo positivo. Os dejo con el resumen del mes, como siempre, espero que os guste.

De música, las canciones que más he escuchado este mes han sido: Skylar Grey Coming Home (part II)  | The Vamps ft. Demi Lovato - Somebody To You y por último,
 The Driver de Bastille

He visto Mamma Mia! de Phyllida Lloyd que con lo que me gustan los musicales he tardado en hacerlo y bueno, lo que es la trama me parece algo floja y el final muy precipitado. Las canciones de Abba no sé si siempre pegaban en la historia pero bueno, pasé un buen rato viéndola.
En octubre también me leí Fangirl de Rainbow Rowell y es un libro que, quizás por el título, me esperaba algo diferente. Me ha gustado pero no me ha entusiasmado del todo. Cath es una chica que empieza la universidad y escribe fanfiction sobre una saga de libros (que supongo será un guiño a Harry Potter). Al final de la historia os resultarán familiares los nombres de Wren, Reagan, Levi y de Simon y Baz.
Marc Màrquez y Tito Rabat ya son campeones del mundo en MotoGP y Moto 2 respectivamente y en Fórmula 1 solo puedo decir #ForzaJules.

I've watched Mamma Mia! by Phillida Lloyd (finally) and I've waited a long time to do so even though I like musicals a lot. Well, I didn't think there was a great storyline in the film and everything happened really fast at the end, but I enjoyed watching it.
In October I read Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell and I thought it was going to be very different (maybe because of the title). I liked it, but not as much as I thought I would. Cath is starting university this year and she writes fanfiction about a saga of books, which makes me think of Harry Potter. At the end of the story the names of Wren, Reagan, Levi and Simon and Baz would be very familiar to you.
Marc Màrquez and Tito Rabat are already world champions (MotoGP and Moto2 respectively) and in Formula 1 I only can say #ForzaJules.
