June 2014 | Recap

¡Hola!
Hi! I think everybody is enjoying their holidays already, but neither my blog nor I are going to have them this year (just a couple of days at most), so I'll continue posting during summer. So, here you have June's cultural/mix stuff, I hope you like it.

'How am I gonna be an optimist about this?'

I've been listening a lot to Bastille in Spotify this month (x), especially their amazing All This Bad Blood album and their contagious song Pompeii. I've been hearing to Ed Sheeran as well, as he has his new album called X out, I've enjoyed everything that's in the same music streaming service of him (x), mostly I See Fire (from The Hobbit film).

This past month I've started to watch one of the so-called best TV Shows ever: The Sopranos. I don't want to spoil it for you so I only will tell you that one mobster guy from New Jersey has to go to therapy because he has some health issues. I've only seen a couple of seasons at the moment, but I can say that I like it.

I've finally read one of those books that I had on my eternal wishlist: Animal Farm by George Orwell. I had previously read 1984 so I knew what to expect. I've liked this story of a group of animals that revolt against the human being that's in charge of the farm and then they take control of everything. The pigs become the leaders of them all little by little so; will there be any differences between how they run things and how humans did? You have to read it to know it.
